Inspire & Play speaks about the benefits a Kindergarten Program brings to your child.
At Inspire & Play, we understand and actively promote the benefits an Approved Kindergarten Program can bring to your child when transitioning into their next stage of early education. We strive to provide your child with all the necessary support, education, and materials needed to ensure they enjoy and benefit from their learning experience at our centre.
Building Confidence and School Readiness
Our Government Approved Kindergarten Program is designed to ensure your child feels prepared and excited for their first year of schooling. We adhere to all guidelines, the first being to provide a routine experience. This allows your child to become accustomed to structured learning.
Implementing a routine will help ease their transition from a few days of childcare to the regular attendance school requires. An approved Kindergarten Program also means your child gets to form new bonds and connections with other children their age before school begins.
Numeracy and Literacy Skills
If you are a parent feeling concerned about whether or not your child will struggle to keep up with the expected levels of schooling after they leave childcare, you can put your mind to ease. Government Approved Kindergarten Programs are designed to best prepare your child for the next stage in their schooling journey. At Inspire & Play, we believe in open-ended play, as well as providing children with a structured learning environment. Incorporating the two will be both educational and stimulating for your child.
Development of Social Skills & Conflict Management
Conflict is inevitable, every human being will encounter some level of conflict in their lifetime, how you handle that conflict is what’s important. Children are like sponges; they must be taught in the early stages of life the foundations of how to effectively manage and resolve conflict. Commonly, children’s first experience with conflict is with peers at school.
Kindergarten provides an opportunity for your child to become familiar with interacting and communicating with other children, which at times could lead to conflict. The benefit of Kindergarten, however, is that it is in a much smaller environment than school, with children being under the care and guidance of our highly qualified educators.
With this guidance, your child will be able to develop their social and emotional skills in a safe and supportive environment. Kindergarten allows children to learn about respecting others and expressing themselves appropriately in conflict situations.
At Inspire & Play Early Learning Centre, we take pride in giving children everything they need to be able to thrive, learn and grow in the early stages of life.
